Tibet Library
Tibet Library, also known as Xizang Library or the Tibet Autonomous Region Library, is the public library for the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. It is located at No. 25 Norbulingka Road, Lhasa. Ground was broken on May 6, 1991, and it opened to the public in June 1996. The project cost about 100 million yuan. The library has about 590,000 books and covers 11,000 square metres (about 120,000 square feet).
