Plans in Mexican history

Plans in Mexican history were formal declarations that came with rebellions against the government. They stated guiding principles, explained the rebellion, and often named a new leader. Some were long and detailed; others simply declared the current government void. More than a hundred plans existed. A major collection by Román Iglesias González prints 105 full texts, and about twelve are considered especially important in Mexican history.
