Lanre Tejuoso is a Nigerian medical doctor and politician who served as the senator for Ogun Central from 2015 to 2019. He was born in 1964 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, into a royal family; his father is Oba Adedapo Tejuoso and his grandmother was Bisoye Tejuoso, a noted businesswoman.

He studied medicine at the University of Lagos, earning his MBBS and later specializing in telemedicine and medical computing. He became a doctor in his early 20s. Before joining the Senate, Tejuoso held government roles in Ogun State as Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Environment, and Special Duties under Governor Ibikunle Amosun. While in the Senate, he chaired the Senate Committee on Health and is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He also played a key part in the CPC’s rise and in Muhammadu Buhari’s presidential bid before CPC merged into APC.

Beyond politics, Tejuoso has been active in business and philanthropy. He has served on several company boards and founded schools such as Avicenna International School and Buckswood School. He started the Iyalode Bisoye Tejuoso Malaria Foundation to provide free medical care to the public. He is married to Oloori Moji Tejuoso (née Okoya), daughter of businessman Chief Razaq Okoya, and they have children and grandchildren. In 2021, President Buhari appointed him pro-chancellor of the University of Lagos.
