Stubba
Stubba is a nature reserve and Natura 2000 site in Gällivare, Sweden. It is part of Laponia, a UNESCO World Heritage area in Swedish Lapland, and covers about 350 square kilometers. Together with the Sjaunja nature reserve and Muddus National Park, Stubba forms Sweden’s largest wetland. The reserve was established in 1988 and enlarged in 1996 and 2011. The Inlandsbanan railway and the E45 road pass through the area, and a nearby Inlandsvägen tourist route runs there as well. There are bike and snowmobile trails. Visitors may hike, camp, light campfires, and pick berries and edible mushrooms.
