The KiHa E130 series is a family of diesel multiple unit (DMU) trains operated by JR East in Japan. They have been in service since January 2007 and were built from 2006 to 2007 to replace older DMUs on the Suigun Line and surrounding services.

Overview
- Built by Niigata Transys (with some units by Tokyu Car Corporation) and a total of 67 vehicles were produced.
- On the Suigun Line, the fleet totals 39 cars: 13 single-car KiHa E130 units and 13 two-car sets (KiHa E131 + KiHa E132). They replaced the KiHa 110 series and entered service by September 2007.
- The single-car units (E130) have red sides, while the two-car sets (E131 + E132) have turquoise sides. Doors and cab end panels are yellow.
- Interior layout features 1+2 abreast seating in the center of each car and longitudinal bench seating at the ends. Toilets are provided in the E130 and E131 cars, and the trains are equipped with fare machines for driver-only operation.
- The series uses three doors per side, a length of 19.5 meters, a width of 2.92 meters, floor height of 1.13 meters, and a maximum speed of 100 km/h. Each car has a DMF15HZ engine with about 331 kW, and hydraulic transmission. Bogies are DT74 (motored) and TR259 (trailer). The track gauge is 1,067 mm, and safety systems include ATS-Ps; multiple working is supported.

Kururi Line deployment
- Ten new KiHa E130s were introduced on the Kururi Line in Chiba Prefecture from December 2012 to replace older DMUs (KiHa 30, 37, and 38).
- Cars 101–103 were delivered in August 2012, with 104–110 following in October 2012, entering service on December 1, 2012.
- Kururi Line sets have DT74A motored bogies and TR259A trailer bogies, feature all longitudinal seating, and do not have toilets.

Hachinohe Line expansion
- A new KiHa E130-500 series was introduced on the Hachinohe Line in December 2017. The fleet consists of six two-car units and six single-car units. The first cars were delivered in August 2017 and moved to Hachinohe in September 2017.

Depots and lines
- Operated by JR East, with Suigun Depot (Hitachi Daigo) serving the Suigun Line. The E130 family also serves the Kururi Line and Hachinohe Line.
