Kashere
Kashere is a ward in Akko Local Government Area, Gombe State, Nigeria. It covers about 66.2 square kilometers (25.6 square miles) and sits at coordinates 9°9′12″N 11°01′04″E. The area is in the West Africa Time zone (UTC+1).
The 2006 census shows Fulani as the main ethnic group, with a Muslim majority and a small Christian minority. The postal code is 771103. It is about 397 kilometers (247 miles) from Kashere to Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
Climate wise, the rainy season is oppressive and cloudy, while the dry season is partly cloudy. It is hot all year round, with average temperatures around 70–73°F and highs up to about 103°F.
