Finn sailing at the 2008 Summer Olympics

The Finn event was held at the Qingdao International Sailing Centre from August 9 to August 17, 2008. Twenty-six sailors from 26 nations competed in 26 boats. Eleven races were planned, with the last one counting as the medal race, but only nine races were completed because the wind was light and unpredictable. One day of racing was cancelled and the medal race was postponed to the next day. Ten boats qualified for the medal race.

Medalists
- Gold: Ben Ainslie (Great Britain)
- Silver: Zach Railey (United States)
- Bronze: Guillaume Florent (France)

Course areas A (Yellow) and E (Pink) were used. The target time for a race was about 75 minutes, and about 30 minutes for the medal race. Wind conditions were often light, affecting the schedule and racing.
