Plešivica is a small settlement in the Jastrebarsko area of Zagreb County, Croatia. It covers 3.5 square kilometers and had 269 residents in 2021 (about 77 people per square kilometer). In 2011, 292 people lived there. The area uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) in the summer. The name Plešivica comes from the Croatian word plešiv, meaning bare or treeless, a common description for hills or mountains with meadows on top; the name can be a proper place name or a descriptive term.
