Sophia of Wittelsbach

Sophia (Sophiam) of Wittelsbach (1170–1238) was a German noblewoman from the House of Wittelsbach. She was the daughter of Otto I Wittelsbach, who was Count Palatine and later Duke of Bavaria, and Agnes of Loon. In 1196, she married Landgrave Hermann I of Thuringia as his second wife. They had three children: Louis IV, Conrad Henry, and Raspe.
