Inspur K-UX
Inspur K-UX is a Linux-based operating system from Inspur, built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The latest version is 3.0, designed for x86-64 hardware (with earlier IA-64 support in 1.0).
Key points by version:
- 1.0: First release, compiled for IA-64 (Itanium) and certified for the Linux Standard Base (LSB 4.0) in 2012.
- 2.0: Certified to The Open Group UNIX 03 standard. It ran on the Inspur Tiansuo K1, was for x86-64, and used GCC as the standard C compiler, in the Red Hat family.
- 2.2: Featured in SPEC benchmark results on the Inspur K1 800 server, described as an Intel Xeon-based system running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for x86-64.
- 3.0: Also certified as a UNIX OS, but the UNIX 03 certification expired on February 3, 2019 and was not renewed.
