Alfiya Gumarovna Kogogina is a Russian politician from Zelenodolsk in the Republic of Tatarstan. She serves as a deputy in the State Duma, Russia’s lower house of parliament, and is a member of the United Russia party. Kogogina has sat in the 6th, 7th and 8th State Dumas, starting in 2011 with the 6th Duma, then representing Naberezhnye Chelny (No. 29) in the 7th, and continuing in the 8th Duma after the 2021 elections.

Before joining the national parliament, she worked in the Zelenodolsk district administration from 1992 to 1999 in roles related to economics, financial analysis and forecasting, marketing, and investment policy. In 2002 she became the director of sales and leasing development at Kamaz. She studied at Kazan Federal University.

Kogogina has been sanctioned by multiple countries and blocs since 2022 in connection with Russia’s actions in Ukraine, including the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Ukraine, and New Zealand. Birth details place her in Zelenodolsk, then part of the Tatar ASSR in the Russian SFSR, USSR.
