Rib Mountain is a village in Marathon County, Wisconsin, just outside the city of Wausau and part of the Wausau metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, about 7,313 people live there. The village covers roughly 25.6 square miles, with 24.6 being land and 1.0 being water. It lies in the Central Time Zone and uses area codes 715 and 534. The nearby Rib Mountain hill gave the village its name.

The area began as the town of Erickson in 1905, named after town chairman George Erickson. It later became the town of Flieth, and in 1930 it was renamed the Town of Rib Mountain. In 2023, residents voted to become a village and kept the name Rib Mountain. Within the village is a census-designated place also called Rib Mountain. The Central Wisconsin Airport serves the village and surrounding communities with both commercial jet service and general aviation.
