Walter Charles Wheeler (30 December 1841 – 10 October 1907) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm roundarm medium bowler. Born in Newport, Isle of Wight, he played for Middlesex in 1873, Surrey in 1875, and Hampshire from 1878 to 1880.

In ten first-class matches, Wheeler scored 80 runs with a top score of 15 and an average of 4.44. He bowled 696 deliveries, taking 14 wickets at 23.64, with a best of 6/133 against Kent. He also took two catches.

In club cricket he played for Cheam and won the Surrey Cup in 1881. Wheeler died in Kennington, London, in October 1907, aged 65.
