Independence Champs were a Class-D minor league baseball team from Independence, Kansas. They played in 1907 in the Oklahoma–Arkansas–Kansas League (OAK League). The team began in 1906 as the Independence Coyotes in the Kansas State League. When the KSL ended after 1906, they moved to the OAK League. After 1907, the OAK League folded, and Independence joined the new Oklahoma–Kansas League in 1908 along with Bartlesville and Muskogee. Notable players who spent time with the team included Chick Brandom, Drummond Brown, Dick Crutcher, Danny Friend, and Marc Hall.
