Heliconia vellerigera
Heliconia vellerigera is a tropical plant in the Heliconiaceae family. It grows as a large herb up to about 6 meters tall and has a hanging inflorescence made of 20–30 red-orange bracts, each with cinnamon-colored hairs. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Costa Rica.
