Buford, Colorado
Buford is an unincorporated community in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. It sits about 7,028 feet above sea level. The Buford post office operated from March 19, 1890, until December 15, 1961. The community was named after John Buford, a Civil War officer. Nearby is Marvine Ranch, a weather station at around 7,800 feet.
