Paradela, Lugo
Paradela is a small municipality in Lugo province, Galicia, in north-west Spain. It lies in the region of Sarria and covers about 121.12 square kilometers. As of January 1, 2025, around 1,557 people live there, and they are known as Paradelenses. The official languages are Galician and Spanish. Paradela is connected to the Way of St. James pilgrimage route; the French route passes through five parishes—Ferreiros, Francos, Laxe, Cortes and Loio—on the way to Santiago de Compostela.
