Gracia Mary McGrath O.B.E. (born 20 July 1961) is a British charity leader who was the chief executive of Chance UK, a London-based charity that helps children. She was born in Birkenhead, Cheshire (now Merseyside), the youngest of eight children. She attended Holt Hill Convent but was expelled at 16 after an argument with the headteacher. Her own school problems inspired her to work with children who have behavioural difficulties. She has spent more than 20 years in the voluntary sector. She became CEO of Chance UK in 2001, growing the charity and creating a franchise model that partners with other organisations across the UK. In 2009 she received an O.B.E. for services to children with special needs.
