I Turn to You (George Jones song)
"I Turn to You" is a country song by George Jones, written by Max D. Barnes and Curly Putman. It was recorded for the 1987 album Wine Colored Roses and released on May 16, 1987 as the album’s third single. The B-side is "Don't Leave Without Taking Your Silver." The track is 2 minutes and 38 seconds long, released on Epic Records and produced by Billy Sherrill. The song did not reach the Top 25 on the country charts, reflecting a shift in country music at the time toward the new traditionalist sound led by younger artists like Randy Travis. Between 1993 and 2013, it was re-released on four compilation albums by Sony Music Distribution, Madacity, and IMG.
