Cephalotes cordiventris
Cephalotes cordiventris is a tree-dwelling ant in the Cephalotes genus. It has a uniquely shaped head and can glide or steer its fall if it drops from a tree, earning it the nickname of a gliding ant. The species was described in 1931 by Santschi.
