Sandy Valley is a small residential community in west-central Clark County, Nevada, about 35 miles west of Las Vegas and near Henderson. It’s 14 miles from Goodsprings and 20 miles from the Jean exit on I-15.

The area covers about 56 square miles (145 square kilometers) in the Mojave Desert, in the Mesquite Valley. It’s bordered by the Spring Mountains to the north, Mount Potosi to the east, and the Kingston Mountain range to the west. The elevation is about 2,766 feet above sea level.

As of 2020, about 2,663 people live in Sandy Valley. The ZIP code is 89019 and the area codes are 702 and 725.

Sky Ranch Estates is a private residential aviation community here, with its own Sky Ranch Airport.

Education and library
- Sandy Valley School serves pre-K through 12th grade. It offers AP Calculus and AP US Government, plus dual enrollment courses in college subjects.
