Gordonville is an unincorporated community in the northwestern part of Grayson County, Texas, United States. It lies on Farm to Market Road 901 and sits on the shore of Lake Texoma. The area was part of a sheep ranch until 1872. During the Civil War, William Quantrill and his men visited Gordonville frequently, and Quantrill named the town after his treasurer Silas M. Gordon. As of 2010, about 1,700 people lived there.
