Francisco Gómez de Mendiola y Solórzano (January 19, 1519 – April 23, 1576) was a Spanish Catholic bishop who served as the Bishop of Guadalajara in Mexico from 1574 to 1576. He was born in Durango, Spain. On April 19, 1574, he was appointed bishop by the King of Spain and confirmed by Pope Gregory XIII. He was consecrated on December 12, 1574 by Pedro Moya de Contreras, Archbishop of Mexico. He died in Guadalajara, Mexico, on April 23, 1576, at the age of 57. His predecessor was Pedro de Ayala and his successor was Domingo de Alzola.
