1996 Arab Cup Winners' Cup

The seventh Arab Cup Winners' Cup was held in Amman, Jordan, from 13 to 22 May 1996. Eight clubs from Arab nations in Africa and Asia participated, with all games played at one venue in Amman.

Format: The eight teams were drawn into two groups of four. Each group played a single round-robin. The group winners and runners-up advanced to the semi-finals.

Final stages: Olympique Khouribga of Morocco won the title, defeating Al-Faisaly of Jordan in the final to claim their first title. Al-Riyadh SC finished third and Olympique Médéa finished fourth.

Statistics: 15 matches were played and 48 goals were scored. Top scorer: Ahmed Bahja (4 goals). Best player: El Arbi Hababi. Best goalkeeper: Anis Shafiq.
