The University of Kent Rowing Club is the student‑run rowing club of the University of Kent, based on Westbere Lake near Canterbury in Kent, England. It is affiliated with British Rowing and trains year‑round. The club was founded in 1966.

Home water: Westbere Lake. The club was formerly based at the Somerset Maugham boathouse on the River Stour near Plucks Gutter, outside Sandwich. In 1992 they had notable success at the Maidstone Invicta Head. From September 2018 to April 2020 they shared Westbere Lake with the King’s School Canterbury Boat Club, and they planned to move to a new location for the start of the 2020 academic year.

The club mainly rows sweep boats, especially coxed fours (4+), and also owns double sculls (2x) and pairs (2-). Eights (8+) were not possible on the narrow River Stour at Plucks Gutter, but the move to Westbere Lake allowed training and competition in eights.

Training is year‑round, with a week‑long winter camp over Christmas and a two‑week camp over Easter to prepare for BUCS regatta. Land training takes place in the University gym, with access to ergs on the sports centre balcony. The club caters to rowers of all abilities, with dedicated programmes for beginners and seniors, and coaching for coxswains.

Club colours are ivory, navy and claret. Spitfire Boat Club was created for alumni in 2001 and became open to the public in 2002.
