Desh Ki Beti Nandini
Desh Ki Beti Nandini (Country's Daughter Nandini) is an Indian political drama that aired on Sony TV from October 7, 2013 to May 8, 2014. It tells the story of Nandini, a cheerful, responsible girl from a middle‑class family in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Her father Ashok Pandey is a retired government employee, her mother Aanchal is a homemaker, and she has a younger brother Siddharth who is job‑hunting and a sister Ritu who loves fashion. Nandini becomes the family's main earner, working as a decorating planner.
She marries Prince Rajveer Raghuvanshi, who comes from a powerful political family. Nandini discovers that his mother is pushing him into politics, while his father was also a politician. Rajveer is more drawn to music, and Nandini helps him pursue that passion and step away from politics. He eventually becomes a musician.
After facing various challenges, Nandini decides to enter politics herself. She runs for election on behalf of her family and wins, becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi. The show focuses on social issues and Nandini’s empathy, hard work, and determination.
On March 21, 2014, the 107th episode featured a guest appearance by actors Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma to promote the film Youngistaan.
