Columbia was a provincial electoral district in British Columbia. It first appeared in the 1903 election and lasted until after the 1963 election. After 1928, it was merged with Revelstoke to form Columbia-Revelstoke for the 1933 election. The Pattullo government re-established Columbia as a separate riding, and Thomas King was elected by acclamation in a 1934 by-election. In 1966 the riding was renamed Columbia River. It was later merged with Revelstoke to form Columbia River-Revelstoke (the western part of the area), while the eastern part became part of East Kootenay.
