Fox & Parrot Wood is a broadleaf woodland in County Durham, England, about 4 miles west of Chester-le-Street and just north of the B6313 near Craghead. It is part of the Great North Forest and lies next to Twizell Wood to the north. The wood was planted in 1998 by the Woodland Trust and the Forestry Commission, with more planting in 2004. It now covers 13.4 hectares (33.1 acres) and is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust. It is open to the public with five access points. The wood is named after Dr Fox, a local doctor in the 1950s who was known for his pet parrot.
