Farewell is the eighth studio album by the Toshiko Akiyoshi – Lew Tabackin Big Band. It was released in 1980 and recorded January 10–11, 1980 at Devonshire Recording Studio in Los Angeles. The jazz album runs 40:41 and was released by Victor (Japan) and Ascent. It was produced by Toshiko Akiyoshi and Lew Tabackin. In the band's chronology, it follows Sumi-e (1979) and precedes From Toshiko with Love (1981). Farewell earned a 1980 Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Instrumental Performance - Big Band.
