Amazophrynella minuta
Amazophrynella minuta is a small toad in the Bufonidae family. It has a conservation status of Least Concern. This species is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Due to the unclear description of some related Amazophrynella species, some old records may not clearly refer to this species.
Amazophrynella minuta lives on the forest floor in old and second-growth tropical moist forests and premontane humid forests. It breeds in semi-permanent and temporary waterbodies. The main threat to it is loss of forest habitat. Adults are small, reaching up to about 24 mm in length from snout to vent.
