Ispat Post Graduate Institute and Super Specialty Hospital
Ispat Post Graduate Institute and Super Specialty Hospital (IPGI&SSH) is a medical college and multi-specialty hospital in Sector 19, Rourkela, Odisha, India. It operates as a semi-government institution and is affiliated with the Odisha University of Health Sciences.
IPGI&SSH continues the legacy of Ispat General Hospital (IGH) at the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), part of SAIL. IGH began in 1959 to provide medical care for RSP employees, their families, and local communities in Odisha and nearby states, and it grew to about 600 beds.
IPGI&SSH was established on 21 March 2021 and currently has about 300 beds.
