Dylan Jeremy Neal, born October 8, 1969, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, is a Canadian actor. He is best known for playing Dylan Shaw on The Bold and the Beautiful, Doug Witter on Dawson’s Creek, and Detective Mike Celluci in Blood Ties. He also appeared as Aaron Jacobs on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

In 2013, Neal starred opposite Andie MacDowell in Cedar Cove, Hallmark Channel’s first scripted TV series, which premiered on July 20, 2013. In 2014, he began writing, producing, and starring as Henry Ross in Hallmark’s Gourmet Detective series, creating original mystery films for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Since 2018, he has continued writing, producing, and acting in many Hallmark films. He also had roles such as a secret agent in The President’s Man (2000) and Bob Adams in Fifty Shades of Grey (2015).

Neal grew up in Ontario, moving to Oakville as a baby, and attended Appleby College before transferring to T. A. Blakelock High School, where he discovered acting through drama class. Before acting, he worked as a caterer and delivery driver. He enjoys furniture making. He is married to TV writer and producer Becky Southwell, whom he wed on September 21, 1996, and they have two children. Together they run Southwell Neal Entertainment and co-write the Gourmet Detective films, based on Peter King’s novels; by February 2020, five Gourmet Detective TV movies had been released.
