Comet Bay College
Comet Bay College is a public high school for boys and girls in Secret Harbour, Western Australia, about 56 kilometres south of Perth. It opened in 2006 on the site of the current Comet Bay Primary School and moved to its present location in 2007. The college serves students in years 7–12 and had about 1,904 students in Semester 2, 2025. The motto is Seek excellence and the school colours are navy blue, blue, yellow and white. The principal is Kelly Bennett.
The campus has separate blocks for each subject, plus a gym, library, oval, cafeteria and performing arts area. The school runs a Gifted and Talented program and offers programs to develop AFL football, golf, drama and visual arts, music and media.
In 2020, Comet Bay College ranked among the top ten public secondary schools in Western Australia for the first time.
In June 2023, an arson attack damaged the Humanities and English blocks, delaying exams and forcing classes into temporary spaces. Portable classrooms were set up, and the STEP program moved to nearby Comet Bay Primary School while repairs were completed. The STEP program returned in 2024, and the English block was renovated and reopened in Week 10 of Term 2, 2025, with additional portable classrooms used during holidays to support the return.
The college serves students from Secret Harbour, Golden Bay, Singleton, Baldivis, Karnup and part of Port Kennedy. Students from Madora Bay can choose Comet Bay College or Mandurah High School.
