Marc Bertrán Vilanova (born 22 May 1982) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a right-back. Born in La Pobla de Segur in Catalonia, he started with his hometown club and joined Espanyol’s youth system, making his first-team debut in 2001–02. He went on to play 17 La Liga games for Espanyol and spent a season on loan at Córdoba in the Segunda División, before short spells with Cádiz and Lorca Deportiva.

In 2006 he joined CD Tenerife, where he became a regular starter and helped the team return to La Liga in 2009–10. He appeared 161 times for Tenerife, scoring four goals, and stayed with the club until 2011, when Tenerife were relegated again after a season affected by an injury from a challenge by Royston Drenthe. In June 2011 Bertrán signed with Osasuna, contributing 80 league appearances over three seasons.

Afterwards he played in the Segunda División for Recreativo, Leganés and Zaragoza, finishing his career with Leganés and Zaragoza before retiring at 34. Internationally, Bertrán earned one cap for Spain’s under-21 team in 2003, in a win over Armenia.

Career totals: 119 La Liga appearances, 203 Segunda División appearances with six goals, across five clubs, for a total of 374 senior appearances and nine goals.
