Christian Frühstück Nielsen
Christian Frühstück Nielsen (7 August 1878 – 3 January 1956) was a Danish architect from Aarhus. He mainly worked in and around Aarhus and on the island of Mors, leaving many lasting buildings.
He was the son of master mason Christian Julius Nielsen and Jakobine Bach. He finished Technical School in 1898 and studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1900 to 1907, earning his degree in architecture. He worked for Vilhelm Dahlerup, the City Architect of Copenhagen Axel Møller, and Martin Borch before opening his own practice in Aarhus in 1908.
Frühstück Nielsen held several professional roles: he was chairman of the Association of Byggeinteresserede from 1921 to 1946, and he served on the boards of Jydske Hypotekforeninger, Bygningskommisionen i Aarhus, and the Architects' Association of Denmark in two periods.
He married Karen Elisabeth Hansen on 17 May 1919 in Copenhagen. He died in Aarhus on 3 January 1956, aged 77.
