Madison Central High School was a public high school in Madison, Wisconsin. It operated from 1854 until 1969. The Tigers were the school’s teams, and the colors were black and orange. In 1908 the school moved to its long-time site, where it stayed until it closed.

Dane County’s oldest school began in 1853 in the basement of a Methodist church with one teacher and 90 students. It was first called Madison High School, later becoming Madison Central High School in 1922, and in 1965 it was renamed Central-University High School when intern teachers from the University of Wisconsin joined the staff. The building was designed by Cass Gilbert and was torn down in 1986 to make space for an MATC parking lot.
