1910 Five Nations Championship
The 1910 Five Nations Championship was the first edition after France joined the Home Nations Championship, creating the Five Nations. It was the 28th edition of the northern hemisphere rugby union championship. Ten matches were played from 1 January to 28 March, with the teams England, France, Ireland, Scotland and Wales competing.
England won the championship, their 4th title. The top point scorer was Jack Bancroft of Wales with 21 points, and the top try scorer was Reggie Gibbs of Wales with 5 tries.
France’s inclusion marked a new era for the competition.
