Calliteara farenoides is a moth in the Erebidae family. It is found in Queensland, Australia.

Wingspan: about 40 mm in males and 60 mm in females.

Taxonomy: sometimes considered a subspecies of Calliteara horsfieldii. The species was first described by Lucas in 1892.

Other names (synonyms): Teara farenoides and Dasychira queenslandica.
