Hypselognathus
Hypselognathus is a genus of pipefishes in the family Syngnathidae. They are native to Australia and are known only from the southern coast. The genus was named by Whitley in 1948, and its type species is Histiogamphelus rostratus, described by Waite and Hale in 1921. There are currently two recognized species in Hypselognathus.
