Spencer Coelho (born 11 June 1948) is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a midfielder. He is best known for his time in Minas Gerais clubs and for his long spell in Mexico, especially with Pumas UNAM.
Coelho grew up in Araguari, Minas Gerais, and started playing football with his brother Zezinho. He joined América Mineiro’s youth team and began his senior career with Cruzeiro in 1966. In 1969 he was loaned to Araxá, and in 1971 he moved to Atlético Mineiro, where he played in the Brasileirão until mid-1973.
After leaving Atlético Mineiro, he briefly played for América Mineiro. He then moved to Mexico to join Pumas UNAM, alongside fellow Brazilian Cabinho. With Pumas he became a key player and helped the club win its first top‑flight title in 1976–77.
He later played in Mexico for Tecos, Atlante and Deportivo Toluca, finishing his career in 1983. In total for Pumas he appeared in 127 league matches and scored 18 goals.
Mexico offered him citizenship to play for the national team in the 1978 World Cup, but he declined the offer.
