Brian O'Shea (9 December 1944 – 28 January 2026) was an Irish Labour Party politician. He served as a Senator from 1987 to 1989 and as a Teachta Dála (TD) for Waterford from 1989 to 2011. He was Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine from 1993 to 1994, and at the Department of Health from 1994 to 1997, with responsibilities for Food and Horticulture, and for Mental Handicap, Public Health and Food Safety. He also served as the Labour Party’s spokesperson on several issues during his time in parliament.

O'Shea began in local government, serving on Tramore Town Council from 1979 and on Waterford City and Waterford County Councils from 1985 to 1993. Born in Waterford, he was educated at Mount Sion CBS and St Patrick's College Dublin and worked as a teacher before entering politics. He married Eileen Walsh in 1978 and had six children.

He died on 28 January 2026 at the age of 81.
