Dyesebel (2008 TV series)
Dyesebel (2008) is a Philippine television drama, romance and fantasy series on GMA Network. It’s based on Mars Ravelo’s graphic novel of the same name and stars Marian Rivera as Dyesebel, a mermaid who falls in love with a man named Fredo and must face four adversaries: Ava, Berbola, Dyangga, and Betty. The show aired from April 28 to October 17, 2008, and has 125 episodes plus one special. Directed by Joyce E. Bernal and Don Michael Perez, it was produced by GMA Entertainment TV. Filming took place mainly in Coron, Palawan, with additional shoots in Batanes and other locations. Each episode runs about 30–45 minutes, and the program was well received in Mega Manila, with strong pilot and final episode ratings.
