List of ECHL seasons (short version)
The ECHL began in 1988. This page lists every season from 1988–89 to the current season. For each season you’ll find:
- The season year (e.g., 2005–06)
- The regular-season champion (team with the best record)
- The Kelly Cup playoff champion (the season’s winner)
- Any major league changes that year (new teams, teams moving, or folding)
Seasons usually run from fall to spring, with playoffs in spring. The list highlights the league’s history and its champions over the years.
