Banco Unión S.A. is a Bolivian state-owned bank based in La Paz. It was founded on November 5, 1981 and acts as a public financial intermediary for the government and the public, handling many deposits from public entities. It is one of Bolivia’s main state financial tools, alongside the Central Bank.

- July 28, 1979: The government created Banco de la Unión S.A.
