Arthur Shannos

Arthur Shannos (4 March 1938 – 1 September 2002) was an Australian weightlifter. He was born in Ithaca, Queensland. He competed in the heavyweight division. Shannos represented Australia at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1958 (Cardiff), 1962 (Perth), and 1966 (Kingston). He also competed at the Summer Olympics in 1960 and 1964. He died on 1 September 2002 at age 64.
