Thou Shell of Death
Thou Shell of Death is a 1936 detective novel by British writer Cecil Day-Lewis, who published it under the name Nicholas Blake. It is the second book in the Nigel Strangeways series, featuring the private detective. The story is a country house mystery from the Golden Age of Detective Fiction. The title comes from a line in the Jacobean play The Revenger's Tragedy. It was published in the United Kingdom by Collins Crime Club and in the United States by Harper & Brothers. The novel sits between A Question of Proof and There’s Trouble Brewing in the series.
