Ahad Pazaj
Ahad Pazaj (Persian: احد پازاج) was an Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler and later a coach. He was born on June 22, 1970, in Ardabil, Iran. Pazaj competed for Iran in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Olympics in 1988, 1992, and 1996. He won multiple medals at the Asian Championships: gold in 1987 Mumbai (52 kg), gold in 1992 Tehran (62 kg), and gold in 1993 Hiroshima (62 kg); silver in 1996 Xiaoshan (62 kg); and bronze in 1995 Manila (62 kg). He also earned a bronze at the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing (57 kg). Pazaj wrestled for Takhti Sport Club Ardabil and later coached Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestling team.
