Kansas City, Oregon
Kansas City is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, about 28 miles west of Portland and roughly 6 miles north-northwest of Forest Grove. It was named by settlers from Kansas City, Missouri. By 1990, the town had a small community hall and a school, but both buildings had been in poor condition for a long time. The area is part of the Forest Grove Rural Fire Protection District and is within the Portland metropolitan area.
