The City Uncovered with Evan Davis
The City Uncovered with Evan Davis is a 2009 British documentary series about the history of finance and the 2008 financial crisis. Hosted by Evan Davis, the three-part program is part of the BBC’s City Season, with each hour-long episode exploring how finance works and what led to the crisis.
It aired on BBC Two at 9 pm on Wednesdays from 14 January to 28 January 2009, with repeats on BBC One a few days later. The title refers to The City, London’s financial district, similar to Wall Street in New York.
The show was produced by BBC Productions, with executive producer Lucy Hetherington and a team of producers. It was filmed in London, New York City, and Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, and directed by Andy Webb with music by Mike Roberts.
