2017 Big East women's basketball tournament
The 2017 Big East women's basketball tournament took place March 4–7, 2017 at the Al McGuire Center on the Marquette University campus in Milwaukee. Ten teams competed, and the host Marquette Golden Eagles won their first Big East tournament title. They were led by head coach Carolyn Kieger, who earned her first tournament title. Amani Wilborn of Marquette was named the tournament MVP. By winning, Marquette earned an automatic bid to the NCAA women's basketball tournament. Attendance was 12,546, and the games were broadcast on FS1.
